We can service a variety of petrol and electric garden machinery from pedestrian mowers, ride-ons, strimmers, chainsaws, hedgecutters, shredders and more. We can also service and sharpen cylinder mowers and gardening tools.

We always use genuine manufacturer parts on all lawn service, unless asked .
Manufacturer’s warranties require a machine to have an annual service every 12 months to validate the warranty. If your machine is out of warranty you will still need to maintain it to keep it working at its optimum. Whether you’ve had a recent service or not, if you notice your lawnmower is not starting, cutting or running as well as it should, then it’s time to check it over.
At the end of the grass growing season (late October-November) is a perfect time to thoroughly clean and service your lawnmower.

Rotary Mower Push Service Comprises
A petrol mower is always going to need more maintenance than an electric one, but the blades on both should be sharpened after 25-30 hours of cutting. All moving parts on any mower should be greased every 50 hours. Petrol engines will require a regular oil change, we would advise that you do this after 30 hours of mowing, but don’t hit 50 hours plus without refreshing the oil. Do not use car engine oil in your mower, small engines run a lot hotter than cars and require oil that performs at a higher temperature.

Ride on Mower Service Comprises
- thorough wash of tractor and deck
- descaling of rust under deck
- removal, inspection and sharpening of blades
- inspection of deck belts, bearings and pullies
- inspection of tyres and setting of pressures
- inspection and replacement where neccessary of transmission belts and tensioners
- lubrication of bearings, pivots and cables
- checking and charging of batteries if needed
- draining and refilling of oil
- changing oil filter where applicable
- cleaning and inspection of fuel system
- changing spark plug
- inspection of steering
- checking and repair of safety features
- testing of engine drives, setting engine speed where appropriate
- final checks
Brushcutter Servicing Comprises

Chainsaw Servicing comprises

- Sharpening only (no service) is available for £10.00 on loose chains or £18.00 if the chain is still fitted to the saw.
