The advantages:
Regular petrol contains harmful substances such as benzene, olefins and aromatics.
Aspen Alkylate Petrol contains virtually none of these harmful substances, and therefore reduces harmful hydrocarbon emissions by up to 99%.
You are breathing much cleaner air whilst running your machinery on Aspen.
You can recycle your empty container. Simply make sure that the can is empty, and remove the lid and can sleeve. The cans are made from the same type of plastic as regular milk cartons and can be recycled wherever general plastics are accepted. The canisters are not refilled, because according to the UN rules gasoline may only be transported in new containers. Where possible, we would always recommend up-cycling your cans to get all possible use from them before recycling.
Regular petrol is a mixture of about one hundred substances, some of which have a negative effect on the operation of the engine.
Aspen Alkylate Petrol consists of only a dozen substances that help create a cleaner and a longer lasting engine.

Put an end to starting issues
Modern petrol deteriorates quickly. This is a big problem for garden machinery as it often goes long periods without use. Aspen does not contain the chemicals which cause the deterioration in fuel, and as a result, stays fresh for years.
Machinery using Aspen Alkylate Petrol may be stored for long periods without any starting issues. This is not only easier, but also saves on costly maintenance.
Aspen 2 is alkylate petrol premixed at 50:1 with a premium quality biodegradable 2-stroke oil. Suitable for chainsaws, clearing saws, hedge trimmers, power cutters and other land-based 2-stroke engines.
Aspen 2 is virtually free from harmful substances such as benzene, aromatic hydrocarbons or olefins; substances that can cause serious health problems. Aspen Alkylate Petrol also keeps the spark plugs and combustion chamber of your machine cleaner. Aspen Alkylate Petrol contains no ethanol, meaning it can be stored for a long time without any deterioration in quality, which makes your engine easy to start even after long standstill periods. There are numerous environmental benefits, such as reducing the formation of ground-level ozone (smog) by about 40%.
The oil in Aspen 2 has been selected and developed for the future. It is fully synthetic with as much as 60% renewable content. It is biodegradable and free from ash and solvents. The oil gives an extremely clean engine and has optimum lubrication characteristics at all engine temperatures.
Aspen 4 is alkylate petrol without oil – suitable for lawnmowers, rotary cultivators, snow blowers, boats and other 4-stroke engines. Ordinary petrol contains ethanol which attracts moisture and can cause engine failures. Aspen Alkylate Petrol contains no ethanol, making it ideal for use in marine environments. To use Aspen Alkylate Petrol in your 2-stroke outboard motor, simply mix Aspen 4 with outboard oil. To minimise the environmental impact, choose a biodegradable oil. Classic Fuel Solutions was derived from an oil company and a classic bike/car enthusiast, nothing more, nothing less. Realizing ethanol and the lack of lead in modern petrol were major problems for the classic engine, Classic Fuel Solutions set about on a quest to develop a fuel which would lead to the elimination of these re-occurring issues. The technical team used its’ knowledge, expertise and contacts within the oil industry to develop a bespoke fuel for the Classic market and Formula 105 was launched.
CFS Storage 5-Star is specifically formulated to be kinder on gaskets, O-rings and other fuel system components compared to unleaded petrol. It also contains detergent additives for engine cleanliness, as well as antioxidants and corrosion inhibitors to extend storage life. When stored in airtight, opaque fuel containers, Storage 5-Star should remain storage stable for 3-5 years.
CFS Storage 5-Star burns extremely cleanly and its 103 RON and 98 MON provides excellent protection from detonation. A carefully calculated amount of TEL (lead) has been added to ensure that vintage vehicles are protected from valve seat recession and/or damage to valves.
CFS Storage 5-Star is an ethanol-free leaded petrol, designed to be storage stable for up to three years.

Why Use an Ethanol-free Fuel?
As many classic car, bike and also boat owners have discovered, modern unleaded petrol is hygroscopic. The reason for this is the mandatory inclusion of ethanol in all premium unleaded and most super unleaded forecourt fuels. The current level of ethanol in premium unleaded is 10% – hence the name E10. This means that the future is not bright unless the fuel systems are newer than 2002 or have been updated to cope with ethanol-blended fuels.
High levels of ethanol in petroleum fuel results in increased moisture levels, which is likely to cause rust and corrosion in the fuel system. This badly affects carburetors and fuel lines, as the ethanol itself is also corrosive to aluminum, bronze and zinc typically found in carburetors. Both these issues are compounded by long periods of non-usage.
